FLock.io, a platform for federated learning on blockchain, announced that it has entered into an MoU with Animoca Brands, the company driving digital property rights via NFTs and gaming to help build the open metaverse, to explore “co-creation opportunities” for domain-specific AI models using FLock.io’s training platform and protocol.
The collab is aimed at leveraging FLock.io’s “privacy-preserving” AI training infrastructure to develop specialized AI models for Animoca Brands, focusing on due diligence, investment, market-making, as well as operational support.
FLock.io reportedly combines federated learning with blockchain to enable participants to collaboratively “train and validate” machine learning models “without sharing raw data.”
