OurCrowd revealed a new VC investment center in Abu Dhabi to manage deals for its platform while expanding its market back in late 2022. At the same time, the investment platform announced an AI hub named Integrated Data Intelligence Ltd (IDI), which seeks to develop easily adaptable AI solutions for business.
This past week, OurCrowd revealed IDI has onboarded the first cohort of customers for DANNA, its proprietary investment AI copilot.
OurCrowd explains that “DANNA provides a new set of efficient AI-enabled capabilities to support the investment process including sourcing, validation and due diligence, detailed analysis and ad-hoc research, report generation, and decision support on global investment opportunities.”
IDI CEO Dr. Hasanat Dewan reportedly told Abu Dhabi Finance Week attendees that Danna will disrupt the multibillion-dollar private market management industry.
“Our new investment prediction platform brings unprecedented AI capabilities to lift the veil on private market investing, offering objective insights and clarity for our customers.”
OurCrowd pursues securities offerings around the world but has a heavy emphasis on Israeli tech firms. Following the Abraham Accords, OurCrowd expanded its presence in the MENA region. There are expectations there will be more partnerships in the region similar to the one in Abu Dhabi.
In a public statement, OurCrowd CEO and founder Jon Medved, said:
“We could not have built DANNA so quickly and effectively anywhere else but in Abu Dhabi. The support from ADIO, the ready availability of global top notch talent, and the AI leadership position of the local ecosystem, all combined to make our choice to locate here so fortuitous. It is really appropriate that the next big thing in private capital investing is coming from the capital of capital.”
OurCrowd offers multiple funds for platform investors. This past March, OurCrowd announced an AI fund in partnership with top AI firm NVIDIA.
