Obligate, the provider of blockchain-based capital markets infrastructure, announced its go-live of private debt product listings on Archax, the UK-regulated digital asset platform.
Via this partnership, Archax’s users can access digital debt securities issued on the Obligate infrastructure by firms from the traditional as well as digital economies.
The issuance of these securities will be powered by Obligate’s infrastructure, which is widely recognized for its “security, efficiency, and compliance with global regulatory standards.”
By combining Archax’s FCA-regulated exchange, brokerage, and custodian services with Obligate’s on-chain issuance platform, this partnership establishes a “benchmark for institutional engagement with blockchain-enabled capital markets.”
Nadine Gisdon, Head Distribution and Partnerships at Obligate said:
“This integration marks a pivotal moment in our mission to rewire capital markets, which severely lack efficiency and are cumbersome to manage for businesses and investors alike. Our partnership with Archax demonstrates the growing demand for robust, compliant, and scalable blockchain solutions in the institutional market.”
Archax, known for being the regulated digital securities exchange in the UK, claims that it has been at the “forefront of connecting traditional and digital assets.”
This partnership will enable investors to access a range of tokenized securities, enhancing liquidity and expanding “investment opportunities in a trusted and secure environment.”
Nick Donovan, Chief Revenue Officer at Archax said:
“As the digital asset market matures, partnerships like this ensure we deliver value to our users while aiming for the highest standards of compliance and innovation.”
The integration underscores the vision of Obligate and Archax to bring capital markets on-chain, empowering institutional investors and issuers to harness the benefits of blockchain tech “without compromising on regulatory oversight or market integrity.”
As noted in the update, Obligate is a provider of blockchain-based capital markets infrastructure, enabling “issuance and management of digital securities.”
With a mission to rewire capital markets, Obligate empowers companies to raise capital on-chain with “efficiency and transparency.”
As mentioned in the announcement, Archax is the UK’s FCA-regulated digital securities exchange, brokerage, and custodian.
Archax explains that it bridges traditional finance and the digital asset economy, providing a platform for “institutional investors and issuers to access tokenized assets.”
