LBP AM European Private Markets has introduced its inaugural European long-term investment fund (Eltif) 2.0 strategy alongside the establishment of a Capital Solutions center of expertise.
This initiative, LBPAM Private Opportunities, is designed to cater to life insurance and pension savings, focusing on three key unlisted asset classes in France and Europe: private corporate debt, capital investment, and infrastructure (encompassing both equity and debt).
By adopting an active selection approach, the portfolio will comprise funds managed by LBP AM European Private Markets or reputable management companies, ensuring exposure to multiple vintages.
The fund is accessible to investors with a minimum investment of €100. LBPAM Private Opportunities draws upon the expertise of LBP AM’s European private assets platform in portfolio structuring and multi-asset strategy design.
The fund offers geographical and sectoral diversification across technology, services, healthcare, industry, and energy distribution infrastructure.
Notably, it is classified as an Article 8 fund under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.
According to Irène d’Orgeval, head of capital solutions at LBP AM European Private Markets:
“The fund aligns with our objectives, supporting the financing of the real economy in Europe and promoting businesses and regional development.”
The strategy was developed by the capital solutions department, a new entity within LBP AM European Private Markets focused on structuring and managing unlisted market solutions.
This department aims to cater to the needs of wealth management professionals and institutional investors across various risk profiles and sustainability requirements.
LBP AM’s European private assets platform rebranded as LBP AM European Private Markets in 2025, has reportedly invested “€8.4 billion in over 300 transactions” since its inception in 2012.
As a multi-specialist in sustainable finance, LBP AM maintains three investment divisions: European private markets, multi-asset & absolute return, and quantitative solutions.
LBP AM European Private Markets’ new Eltif 2.0 strategy and Capital Solutions center of expertise demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing investment solutions that cater to the evolving needs of investors.
By focusing on unlisted asset classes and emphasizing sustainability, LBP AM is positioned to support the growth of the real economy in Europe while supporting “environmentally responsible” investing practices.
