Digital Bank Revolut Concludes Audit Tender Process, Appointing EY as Audit Partner for 2026

Following the conclusion of a formal audit tender process, Revolut Group Holdings Ltd has announced the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as the Company’s Global Auditor, “effective for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.”

A decision was made to commence a formal audit tender “process for the 2026 audit, to coincide with the rotation of the current group audit partner.”

The competitive audit tender process was “led by Revolut Group’s Audit Committee, which assessed candidates against a range of criteria, including global coverage, deep financial services expertise, and digital audit capabilities.”

The committee presented a formal recommendation “to the board of directors, in line with the Financial Reporting Council’s practice note on audit tendering best practice.”

EY’s appointment will be subject to shareholder approval “in line with the applicable requirements of the Companies Act 2006.”

The current auditors, BDO LLP, will continue in office “through the completion of its audit services for fiscal year ending 31 December 2025.”

Victor Stinga, CFO at Revolut, concluded:

“We’d like to extend our thanks to the entire BDO team for their valued partnership and contributions over the past seven years, supporting the business through a significant period of transformation and growth. We are pleased to welcome EY as our new auditor for the 2026 financial year and look forward to a successful and collaborative partnership.”

As reported recently, the future Audi F1 Team and Revolut, the global fintech with over 60 million customers, are joining forces in an “agreement that will see Revolut become the title partner of the team from the 2026 FIA Formula One Championship season onward.”

The partnership unites two brands with a shared goal to “challenge convention and drive consistent innovation – both in motorsport and in global finance.”

The common goal of the partnership is to “establish new ways for fans to interact with the sport during race weekends, with unique experiences for a new generation of motorsport enthusiasts and exclusive benefits for Revolut customers.”

As part of the agreement, Revolut Business will be “integrated into the team’s financial operations.”

Fans will also benefit directly with Revolut “powering checkout solutions for team merchandise, ensuring a premium and intuitive retail experience.”
