Agent IQ Integrates IDScan.net’s Identity Verification Technology

Agent IQ, a provider of AI-powered relationship banking, has integrated  IDScan.net’s Digital Identity Verification (DIVE) technology into its Lynq platform.

Sophisticated criminals exploit vulnerable one-time passcodes through phishing and SIM swap attacks, while rigid security measures damage the personal relationships these institutions depend on for competitive differentiation. It’s also costly. With identity theft losses reaching $47 billion in 2024, banks must rethink their approach to risk.

The IDScan.net integration embeds secure identity verification directly into Lynq, Agent IQ’s AI-powered relationship banking platform that helps banks and credit unions digitally engage account holders across acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention. When fraud risk is suspected or identity confirmation is needed, institution staff can request verification within the messaging interface. Account holders simply photograph their driver’s license or government-issued ID using their device. IDScan.net’s technology instantly verifies the document, checking for tampering, forgery, or expired credentials, and queries the identity against third-party sources to determine fraud risk.

“As fraud threats continue to evolve, financial institutions need risk-based, multi-factor authentication methods that are both robust and responsive,” said Mark Wilson, president and COO of First Arkansas Bank & Trust, an early adopter of the technology. “By integrating intelligent verification tools directly into our digital conversations, we protect our customers without compromising the trust and convenience they value.”

“We’re thrilled to enhance Lynq’s toolkit by providing users with the ability to rapidly request an ID check,” said Jimmy Roussel, CEO of IDScan.net. “DIVE is a powerful tool to ensure and confirm identity during high-risk transactions, yet remains as easy for the end user as taking a selfie.”

The IDScan.net integration is one component of Agent IQ’s fraud prevention approach, which also includes video verification, IP monitoring, and SMS alerts. These fraud prevention methods can be deployed independently or together, based on the institution’s risk profile and the nature of each request.

“Fraud prevention is often seen as a tradeoff with customer experience,” said Slaven Bilac, CEO and co-founder of Agent IQ. “We reject that notion. By embedding fraud prevention capabilities directly into digital conversations, we help financial institutions protect account holders without creating friction.”
