Crowd Street Updates Investment Platform to Streamline Private Market Investing

Crowd Street has introduced a new and improved online investment platform.

According to a release, Crowd Street has completely rebuilt its investment platform that is said to remove friction, offering alternative assets while improving the investor experience.

John Imbriglia, CEO of Crowd Street, called the launch a pivotal moment for his firm as it offers a platform designed for the future of finance.

“We’ve transformed our platform to deliver a smoother, more effortless experience for our members and empower them throughout their entire investment journey. This new architecture helps ensure we can deliver the exceptional experience our members deserve, setting a new industry standard for self-directed private market investing,” said Imbriglia.

Once a pure play real estate investment platform, Crowd Street realized that by offering a panopoly of private securities, they could better serve their customers who may prefer to visit fewer online investment platforms rather than many.

The last few years at Crowd Street have seen multiple changes beyond an updated platform. There has been a change in leadership, with its HQ moving to New York and a new mission to lead the online investing sector. Crowd Street recently reported over $4.4 billion in invested funds.

While it has been a bumpy road at times, interest in private securities and alternatives has boomed and is expected to grow as investors seek a more diversified portfolio as well as assets beyond real estate and early-stage ventures.

Shaun Mulreed, Chief Operating Officer of Crowd Street, said that for more than a decade, Crowd Street has offered a “premium experience” for real estate investors, and as their users’ needs evolve, so will they.
