Gr4vy, Worldline Partnership Improves Cross-Border Payments Flexibility

Gr4vy (Pron. Gravy), a cloud-based payment orchestration platform, has announced a strategic partnership with payment services provider Worldline. The collaboration brings together Gr4vy’s no-code orchestration technology with Worldline’s global acquiring network and market-specific infrastructure to help merchants simplify and scale their payment operations across international markets.

The partnership gives merchants access to a unified solution that streamlines cross-border payments and reduces technical overhead while improving the customer experience through localized payment options.

“Payments today are fragmented. Every market has its own providers, rules, and preferences, and merchants are the ones stuck stitching it all together,” said John Lunn, founder and CEO of Gr4vy. “We built Gr4vy to take the weight of that complexity off their shoulders. Partnering with Worldline means our merchants get access to local expertise and infrastructure without giving up control or flexibility.”

By combining Gr4vy’s flexible transaction routing, optimization, and vaulting with Worldline’s acquiring network and support for local payment methods, the partnership helps merchants enter new markets faster. It reduces payment failures, boosts conversion rates, and enables consistent, region-specific checkout flows, without adding engineering overhead. Gr4vy’s orchestration platform gives merchants the flexibility to offer personalized journeys and preferred payment options, while Worldline’s global acquiring capabilities ensure reliable and compliant processing across regions.

Together, the two platforms give merchants both the reach and the flexibility to adapt payments to each market without added complexity. As Kelly Harvin, head of global channel partnerships at Worldline, said,

“By combining the strengths of Gr4vy’s innovative platform with Worldline’s global scale and expertise, we are committed to driving digital transformation and unlocking new opportunities for merchants worldwide.”

Beyond the technical integration, the partnership gives merchants access to Worldline’s experience in managing payments for sectors such as gaming, retail, media, and travel, where transaction volumes, recurring billing, local method support, and compliance requirements create added complexity.

Worldline’s infrastructure and regional capabilities help address these operational demands at scale. For example, in the travel sector, the integration includes Worldline’s Travel Hub, designed specifically for airlines, OTAs, and hospitality brands. It provides a single interface for accessing local payment methods, FX conversion, refund automation, and fraud protection, making it easier to manage payments across regions without rebuilding infrastructure for every market.
