Digital Assets : Blockdaemon Expands Access to Canton Network with Institutional Vault

Blockdaemon has expanded its support for the Canton Network with full Canton Coin integration in the Blockdaemon Institutional Vault, delivering so-called “institutional-grade” wallet capabilities to one of the networks for regulated finance. As noted in a blog post, Blockdaemon is pleased to provide complete support for Canton Coin within the Blockdaemon Institutional Vault, bringing “institutional-grade” wallet infrastructure to the Canton Network.

This integration enables institutions to receive, store, and transfer Canton Coin, as well as enabling support for tokenization and treasury management, while “maintaining full operational independence and compliance control.”

With this latest launch, Blockdaemon becomes the provider offering an on-prem wallet solution built for institutions, now said to be operating on the Canton Network. Blockdaemon’s institutional-grade MPC wallet services are reportedly certified by the Canton Foundation.

Blockdaemon is an infrastructure provider offering a complete ‘node stack’ for the Canton Network, “combining MPC key management, RPC endpoints, validator infrastructure, and governance tooling to fit an organization’s workflows. ”

The Blockdaemon Institutional Vault reportedly enables institutions to effectively manage both online and offline (air-gapped) accounts with “one wallet platform, providing security and control for digital asset custody and self-custody.”

Blockdaemon’s infrastructure provides complete “visibility into an institution’s canton validator balance.”

As covered earlier this year, Blockdaemon announces institutional support for ZKsync and the ZKsync stack. In a blog post, the digital assets and blockchain-focused firm had confirmed its support for institutional ZKsync Stack solutions. Since 2024, Blockdaemon has been providing ZKsync nodes with significant uptime and reliability.
