Fintech Firm Togetherwork Shifts Headquarters to Austin, Set to Generate 250 Jobs

Fintech firm Togetherwork has announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Atlanta to the heart of Texas’ capital city. The move, which positions the company on the South Congress Avenue, is projected to create around 250 new employment opportunities over the coming 18 to 24 months. This development underscores Austin’s growing role as a hub for financial technology firms seeking dynamic environments and skilled talent pools.

Founded in 2015, Togetherwork Holdings LLC specializes in integrated software and payment solutions designed to streamline operations for organizations.

Their platforms facilitate group management, member engagement, activity scheduling, and seamless payment collections, catering to a wide array of clients.

With a global workforce of approximately 700 employees, many operating in hybrid or remote setups, the company aims to leverage Austin’s vibrant ecosystem to enhance collaboration and innovation.

The new headquarters occupies a 20,000-square-foot office at 1221 S. Congress Ave., a prime spot previously housed by design firm Frog Design.

Situated above a luxury retailer and opposite a well-known local motel, this location embodies the charm of South Congress, blending business with the area’s cultural vibrancy.

Leading the charge is CEO Brent Warrington, who assumed the role in May 2025 and brings a wealth of experience in steering companies toward Austin.

Warrington, often dubbing himself a “serial relocator,” has a track record of successful migrations: he shifted Hyperwallet’s base to Austin in 2016 before its acquisition by PayPal, moved SecureNet there in 2014 (later bought by Worldpay), and established FundsXpress Financial Network in the city back in 2007, which was acquired by First Data.

He emphasizes Austin’s allure, citing its pool of dedicated professionals, energetic atmosphere, and the presence of key clients as pivotal reasons for the relocation.

According to Warrington, these elements align well to foster a expansive collaborative workspace, particularly for the firm’s finance and marketing divisions.

The hiring initiative focuses on local talent, aiming to fill roles that support Togetherwork’s expansion in software development, payments technology, and operational efficiency.

This influx of jobs is expected to contribute to Austin’s economic momentum, especially within the fintech sector, which has seen substantial growth amid the city’s boom in tech advancements and entrepreneurship.

As part of broader trends, Austin continues to attract tech enterprises drawn by its quality of life, educational institutions like the University of Texas, and supportive business climate.

The area’s transformation from a music-centric town to more of a tech hub—often called “Silicon Hills”—has been fueled by similar corporate relocations, bolstering employment and community development.

This strategic shift not only positions Togetherwork for accelerated growth but also reinforces Austin‘s status as a destination for high-potential companies.

As the firm settles into its new South Congress digs, the anticipated job creation promises to invigorate the local economy, potentially offering opportunities for residents and further cementing the city’s role in shaping the future of financial technology.
