Digital Payments Provider Checkout.com Partners with Hello Clever to Enable Expansion of AI driven Payment Solutions

Sydney-based fintech Hello Clever has entered a strategic alliance with global payments provider Checkout.com to fuel its international expansion and strengthen its innovative “buy-to-earn” model. Announced on 16 April 2026, the partnership equips the AI-driven platform with advanced processing tools that convert everyday transactions into instant rewards through real-time cashback at the point of sale.

Hello Clever now reportedly stands out as the world’s Payments Intelligence platform. Known for being one of Australia’s fintechs growing steadily, the company integrates seamless global payment networks, built-in loyalty features, and intelligent AI capabilities into one cohesive system.

This approach shifts payment operations from a traditional expense into a dynamic engine for business growth, helping merchants build stronger customer relationships while driving measurable revenue increases.

Under the new agreement, Checkout.com will deliver comprehensive payment processing, secure authentication, and robust fraud prevention services.

These capabilities will support Hello Clever’s ambitious push into new territories.

The platform is operational with Checkout.com in Australia and is leveraging its established regional offices in Singapore, New York, and Tokyo to speed up broader rollout plans.

Hello Clever chose the partner specifically for its extensive worldwide reach, adaptable technology designed for digital-first environments, and proven ability to handle high-volume, real-time transactions.

“As we push into new markets, we required a collaborator whose scale and technical depth aligned with our vision,” explained Caroline Tran, CEO and co-founder of Hello Clever.

“Checkout.com’s flexible setup and localized knowledge enable rapid scaling without compromising the rewarding experiences we deliver to merchants and shoppers.”

The collaboration streamlines merchant onboarding and management, allowing Hello Clever to serve a diverse portfolio spanning more than 15 merchant category codes.

This breadth highlights the platform’s versatility across industries.

Checkout.com also assigns a dedicated account team to provide continuous support, optimization advice, and strategic guidance as the fintech enters fresh regions.

Monique Biady, Head of Commercial for Australia at Checkout.com, described the partnership as emblematic of the evolving payments industry.

“Hello Clever exemplifies how forward-thinking companies are blending transactions, artificial intelligence, and loyalty programs,” she noted.

“They transform routine purchases into opportunities for genuine customer engagement, and we are thrilled to back their expansion while they redefine what modern payments can achieve.”

Hello Clever intends to dramatically increase its operational scale, boost revenue substantially, and roll out its model in priority markets such as the United States.

Checkout.com will now aim to play a pivotal role by facilitating smooth market entry and refining performance through upgrades like enhanced authentication protocols and network tokenization.

This alliance underscores a broader trend in fintech: the convergence of payments, AI, and rewards is creating more engaging, efficient ecosystems. By enabling Hello Clever’s global operations, Checkout.com not only expands its own footprint among high-growth firms but also contributes to an environment where digital transactions provide added value for businesses.
