Global financial technology company Adyen N.V. (AMS: ADYEN) has reportedly closed its previously announced acquisitions of Talon. One, a loyalty and incentives platform, and Orb, an enterprise billing platform. Both transactions were said to have been offically finalized on July 1, 2026, after all required regulatory approvals and standard closing conditions were satisfied.
With the deals now complete, Adyen will move forward with integrating Talon. One’s promotional engine and Orb’s flexible billing capabilities into its broader platform.
The company indicated that further details on the strategic rationale and original deal terms are available in its earlier announcements regarding each acquisition.
In parallel with the closings, Fintech firm Adyen announced two key leadership updates designed to support its expanding product ecosystem.
Gayathri Rajan, previously Global Head of Product, has been appointed Chief Product Officer (CPO) with immediate effect.
Separately, Hwa Tsao, currently Senior Vice President of Group Finance, will assume the role of full-time interim Chief Financial Officer effective September 1, 2026.
This follows the previously disclosed departure of CFO Ethan Tandowsky on August 31, 2026.Co-CEO Ingo Uytdehaage will personally lead the integration efforts for both Talon. One and Orb.
The appointments are intended to maintain focused leadership across product and finance functions during this important phase.
Rajan and Tsao will report directly to Adyen’s Co-CEOs and will not be appointed as statutory members of the Management Board.
“Adyen has evolved into a comprehensive platform offering multiple, integrated solutions,” said Ingo Uytdehaage, Co-CEO of Adyen.
“Aligning our executive leadership with this multi-product reality is a natural step forward. Gayathri’s appointment to CPO recognizes her instrumental role in driving our product strategy and ambitions over the past three years, a momentum further amplified by the additions of Talon. One and Orb.”
Rajan brings more than 25 years of product and technology leadership experience across fintech, enterprise platforms, and consumer technology.
Her background includes senior roles at Google, DriveWealth, and Vanguard. In her prior position as Global Head of Product at Adyen, she oversaw core product management, design, and partnership initiatives.
Tsao has more than 20 years of senior finance leadership experience in the technology and financial sectors, including previous roles at ServiceNow, HP, and Citigroup.
As SVP of Group Finance, he already manages Adyen’s core finance operations, providing continuity through the leadership transition.
The Supervisory Board’s search for a permanent successor to Tandowsky continues as planned, supported by an external executive search firm.
Adyen confirmed that there are no changes to its standing financial objectives. As covered, Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for companies worldwide.
By combining end-to-end payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products into a single global solution, Adyen helps businesses accelerate their growth ambitions. The company operates offices globally and serves major clients including Meta, Uber, H&M, eBay, and Microsoft.
