Marqeta, Google, expand child-focused Google Wallet capability

Google can now bring tap-to-pay technology to the Wallet for kids experience, enabling supervised kids and teens to use their NFC-enabled Android phones and Wear OS devices to pay in stores without opening a traditional bank account.

Marqeta gains access to Riskified’s risk intelligence

Card issuers on Marqeta’s platform gain access to Riskified’s pre-authorization risk intelligence. The integration helps issuers make more accurate authorization decisions, approve more legitimate transactions, and reduce false declines across Marqeta’s issuing portfolio.

The integration strengthens Marqeta’s Real-Time Decisioning offering, leveraging richer merchant data to feed into its AI-powered predictive risk score.

Thredd enables Pliant’s U.S. expansion

Thredd expanded its partnership with Pliant to bring its commercial credit and embedded finance platform capabilities to the U.S.

Pliant’s physical and virtual credit cards have built-in reconciliation, spend controls, and deep integrations into modern finance stacks. The program is live in the U.S. on the Visa network, with bank sponsorship provided by Coastal.

Sumsub, Sumvin announce agentic purchase partnership

Sumsub, a global identity verification platform, and Sumvin, an agentic commerce platform, will allow AI agents to complete purchases and manage financial accounts on behalf of KYC-verified users. It enables AI agents to act on behalf of KYC-verified individuals in real-time commerce and financial services.

Once a user is verified, their credentials are encrypted and portable, meaning their agent can act on their behalf with a trusted, recognizable identity across the Internet

Taurus to support Hedera tech stack

Lithic’s Authorization Intelligence underpins the program with a programmable layer that unifies card authorization, device authentication, and fraud controls into a single decisioning system.
