TabaPay $155M Round Among Last Week’s Fintech Raises

FTV leads TabaPay’s $155M round

This financing includes both primary capital for the company and a secondary transaction. Alongside the transaction, TabaPay also announced its intent to acquire Transact Bank, N.A., an OCC-chartered and FDIC-insured bank based in Denver, Colorado.

Through a single API, TabaPay enables instant payments and payouts across card and bank rails.

Cari’s $32.5M raise just the beginning

The bank-governed digital money network said this is the first tranche of its initial external funding round, with the investment coming entirely from banks.

Investors include all six of Cari’s Design Partner Banks—First Horizon Bank, Huntington Bank, KeyBank, M&T Bank, Old National Bank, and SouthState Bank—as well as other banks, including Glacier Bank.

Argentina’s Autonomy confirms $8M A round

It was led by Magna Capital, Comafi, Natan VC and Murchison Ventures.

Founded in 2022 by José Trusso and Leandro Cuccioli, Autonomy offers a rent-to-own model for mobility app drivers who have limited access to traditional auto loans. Autonomy bundles the vehicle, insurance, maintenance, and permits into a single monthly payment and evaluates applicants based on their activity on mobility platforms.

B2B fintech Pluggy announces $3.5M round

The Brazilian agnostic Open Finance B2B infrastructure platform connects more than 600 ERPs, accounting systems and financial management platforms to the banks and institutions its clients already use.

The raise was led by DGF, with participation from Y Combinator and B Venture Capital (BVC).

Fina Partner welcomes $1M seed round

SquareOne Capital and Tomorrow Capital co-led the round. Norte Ventures, Platanus, and Neer Venture Partners joined, alongside angels including Omie chief executive officer Marcelo Lombardo, Bold co-founder Jorge Ulloa, Conta Simples chief executive officer Rodrigo Tognini, Colektia chief executive officer Gabriel Monroy, and Hackmetrix chief executive officer Adriel Araujo.

Founded two years ago by Enrique Rivas, Sebastián Sánchez, Diego Aponte, and Alejandro Fariña, Fina began as an admin platform that centralized inventory, sales, and finances for SMEs. Now it wants to become an ecosystem of financial products built around small business owners.
