Founded by Doug Hudson in 2013, he wants to eliminate painful trips to the orthodontist along with a huge chunk of the cost. Invisible aligners have been available for some years now – dominated by a single company that apparently generated $600 million in revenue one $5000 patient at a time. Ouch.
