Marketplace lending platform Prosper has launched their annual #MyProsperStory contest for individuals who have utilized their platform to regain control of their personal finances. All you have to do is email over a photo with a brief explanation as to how Prosper helped and you are in the running to receive a full loan payoff of up to $35,000. First and second place winners will receive $5000 and $2500 respectively to be applied to remaining loan balances. You must be an active borrower from between October 31, 2104 to October 31, 2016. Public voting on Facebook takes place later this month from November 21st to 30th. You can review last year’s winners here.
Aaron Vermut, CEO of Prosper, said they were excited to give back to their community for the 3rd consecutive year.
“Mounting debt – largely fueled by high interest credit cards rates and fees – is a real pain point for many Americans,” said Vermut.
