Zopa announced on Tuesday it was named a winner at both the AltFi Awards and F5 Awards. The peer-to-peer lender revealed it took home a number of prizes at AltFi and was dubbed Best P2P Lending Platform at the F5 awards.
Sharing more details about the AltFi awards, the Zopa team stated:
“Our first award from AltFi was the Editor’s Choice Award. The AltFi team members awarded this title to the platform that has had the greatest impact on the industry in 2016. The second was for Best Clarity of Data, which was determined by analysis from the AltFi Data team and recognises the quality of the data we share with the industry and our customers. We believe this level of transparency is extremely important and we were among the first P2P lenders to start sharing their loan book with AltFi in February 2015, so it was great to be receive this award. We also came runner up in the P2P Consumer Platform of the Year category.”
The team went on to discuss their win at the F5 Awards:
“Zopa also won the Best P2P Lending Platform at the F5 awards, which celebrate the pioneers of non-traditional finance. The F5 awards ceremony was held in the Hilton Bankside Hotel, and were organised by Credit Strategy magazine.”
They then added:
“We are very proud to have these as additions to our trophy cabinet, and we look forward to adding many more in 2017!”
