Select Cook, a Swedish startup that connects food lovers through its smartphone app, has recently launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on FundedByMe to raise SEK500,000 as it continues its growth and expansion.
The company notably offers an app for both eaters, who are looking for prepared meals, and chefs, who are looking for a platform where they may promote their dishes and strengthen their brand. Sharing more details about Select Cook’s services, Patrik Samuelson, co-founder of Select Cook, stated:
“We launched Select Cook because we saw that the available food services in Sweden were flooded with junk food. At the same time, we have so many amazing cooks around us – just walk around in a Swedish neighbourhood during dinnertime, and smell the wonderful aromas seeping out the kitchen windows! With Select Cook, we want to make these healthy, hearty and truly home-cooked meals available to anyone.”
Samuelson also revealed that with the funds the Select Cook team is planning to market the company to the market. He noted:
“The app is finished, and we have already acquired some users – both cooks and eaters. Our next goal is to market our services to attract even more users so that we can expand our offer.”
Daniel Daboczy, CEO of FundedByMe then added:

Select Cook’s FundedByMe campaign is set to close at the end of February.
