Crowdcube Now Stands at £11,857,00 Raised on Equity Crowdfunding Platform.

88 Delicious Brands has successfully raised  £290,000 in equity in an over-subscribed offering on equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube.  The UK based platform now stands at just under £12 Million raised since the site started offering equity crowdfunding back in 2010.

Delicious Brands founder and CEO stated;

“88 Delicious Brans has achieved its funding target with the help of Crowdcube and it’s staff.  We have also managed to grab some great investors that have the experience required to help us achieve our next set of goals”.

The original investment target was to raise £250,000.  The final amount raised stood at £290,000 generated in 56 days provided by 97 investors – using Crowdcubes overfunding functionality.  The average investment was £2,990.  The offering was EIS compliant so investors could use the investment as a potential tax right off.  The company produces a line of Vodka in three different flavours along with two Champagnes which they will launch in the UK market.

Crowdcube lists over 42,000 registered investors on their site.  Funding rounds have ranged from £12,000 up to £1.5 Million.  The average amount raised per investor stands at around £2700 but many offerings have seen substantially larger investments.
