The European Commission Internal and Services Directorate General (DG) organized a Tweetchat on crowdfunding which took place earlier today. The tweetchat is part of an ongoing discussion regarding crowdfunding and the EU policies surrounding regulation and advocacy. The tweetchat, #crowdfundEU, was hosted by European Commission Officers Barbara Gabor and Anna Szerszen.
The Internal Market DG main role is to coordinate the Commission’s policy on the European Single Market and to seek the removal of unjustified obstacles to trade, in particular in the field of services and financial markets.
Based in Brussels, this DG has a staff of approximately 500, working under the political authority of Commissioner Michel Barnier and managed by Director General Jonathan Faull.
