Vovation.com Launches New Crowdfunding Platform For Inventors

Austin-based Vovation.com has launched a new crowdfunding platform with a focus on consumer products. The platform was created by Conley Giles and is billed as “crowdfunding for inventors,” which puts this platform squarely in competition with upstart platforms like HWTrek and Dragon Innovation.

vovation-logoGiles explains why the time is now for crowdfunding in the consumer product space. “The challenge in the past has always been the huge investment in both money and time necessary to develop, patent, manufacture and market a new invention or product. As the inventor, you had to experience this tremendous cost and risk before you ever received your first order. Vovation has forever changed the way new products are developed and introduced into the marketplace by helping to greatly reduce this risk.”

Vovation also plans on offering seminars to help train inventors on the process of going to market and the tenets of crowdfunding campaign creation and execution. There are various discounts and freebies available to project creators as part of the platform’s launch. For more info head to vovation.com.
