“Britain is the best place in the world to start a company today”.
Part of an ongoing series of London Cab rides, Jeff Lynn, CEO of equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs, shares a ride with Reuters reporter Axel Threlfall where they discuss the platform and process of equity crowdfunding.
Seedrs has been in operation for about a year and a half and has successfully funded around 60 companies with an average deal size of about £75,000.
Lynn shares that one of the most promising company that has raised capital on the platform is Future AdLabs that has gone on to raise more capital.
Lynn states that Seedrs needs about £25 to £30 million going through the platform for their company to become profitable. Today they stand around £5 million.
