As part of a regular program held at Stanford University, the European Entrepreneurship and Innovation Thought Leaders series invited Seedrs CEO Jeff Lynn to speak about his equity crowdfunding platform and share his thoughts on crowdfunding in general on the European continent. The session also included Matija Kopic, founder and CEO of Croatia based Farmeron an SAAS company focusing on AgTech.
Lynn gives an excellent overview of his company along with some anecdotal perspective of the types of companies his equity platform has funded.
Lynn also shares his opinion as to why equity crowdfunding will thrive in Europe (even better in the US) and discusses the four drivers of this phenomena:

- Geographic disperson (hubs)
- Global reach and mindset
- Characteristics of capital and investors
