On Indiegogo: Clinic Vandalized For Providing Abortions Raising Money For New Location, Transition

A family healthcare facility in Montana was recently vandalized and suffered extreme losses including extensive damage to medical records and property. That facility is now seeking donations via Indiegogo, and the campaign is fully-funded with almost a month left to go.

All Families Healthcare provided a suite of family planning services. One service the clinic provided to those seeking it were first-trimester abortions. That seems to have been at the root of the attack.

Screen Shot 2014-03-17 at 9.52.45 AMIn an op-ed penned for DailyInterLake.com, All Families Healthcare owner and operator Susan Cahill called the attack a hate crime and expounded upon the attack and the alleged motivation behind it…

He destroyed the plumbing and heating system in the building. He then completely destroyed all my medical equipment, ripping apart, breaking every glass object, bending, stabbing knives into or punching hammer holes into, and then methodically cutting and sticking knife holes into the faces of my friends and family, including pictures of my baby grandson. In my opinion, this is NOT the act of someone who was “high” and didn’t know what he was doing, but rather someone who knew EXACTLY what he was doing.

The Indiegogo campaign is a pure donation campaign with no rewards present. It has already raised over $40,000 on a $25,000 goal. Funds will be used to secure a new location and pay employees during the transition period. All Families Healthcare is one of four clinics in the state of Montana providing abortion-related services.

24-year-old Zachary Klundt was arrested and charged in the break-in.
