4NRg just launched their crowdfunding offer on SyndicateRoom and they are already 52% completed. The unique business is raising £240,000 for a 30% stake in the company. 4NRg is a portfolio business that invests in patentable renewable energy and disaster relief engineering businesses. 4NRg brings new inventions to these markets. The ‘innovation factory’ patents ideas, then spins these out, while retaining a stake in each. The opportunity for investors is that a single investment in the fund also gives a stake in each new company which may be spun out
4NRg will allow for a further £40,000 in overfunding if the first goal is completed. 4NRG expect this to be the last funding round before incomes generated from the developments ensure they are a self-sustained operation.
Over the last five years 4NRg has helped launch the following:
- Scour Prevention Systems – an offshore engineering solution to scour around wind turbines
- Tidal Harvester – a tidal energy business
- Extremis Technology – shelters for disaster relief.
New investors would only receive participation in newly added companies.
