There have been many, perhaps dozens, of item finders / device locating products hit the market in the past 2 years. Part of this craze was driven by the dramatic success of Tile that ran a phenomenally successful self-crowdfunding campaign that proved profound demand for their service. Since then (and prior to that actually) there have been many market entrances for similar products. Most are pretty similar with a feature set leveraging BLE to connect to your smart phone and then relay the location across the network of the associated app. There are differences though – TrackR Bravo just announced some cool options – but they are not part of this review.
So WSJ Tech Columnist Joanna Stern takes a couple of item finders out for a spin to share her opinion of which one is best. Watch the video to find out.
