The 5 companies went live on the investment crowdfunding platform minutes before the pitch.  According to Crowdcube, following the presentations 3 companies generated investor interest and as a result of the event, “Mindflood are now 78% funded (now overfunding), UBREW is at 31% and Fabric is 11% funded”.

Luke Lang, co-founder of Crowdcube said of the event;

“Crowdcube’s Accelerator Programme has proven to be a great success to date, so we’re excited to give investors the opportunity to get behind five young companies, at this important stage in a businesses’ development.”

The program saw approximately one hundred submissions that were culled down to the final 5.  Crowdcube intends on holding four accelerator programs next year.  All accepted companies are “fast tracked” through the Crowdcube approval process.
