The European Crowdfunding Network will be holding its annual convention in Paris next week and they recently shared an updated agenda with their members. ECN expects over 300 participants for this pan-European event with representatives from across Europe gathering to discuss the current crowdfunding environment and debate the best approach to propel the benefits of crowdfunding across the continent.
New speakers recently added include representatives from; European Securities and Market Authorities, the London Stock Exchange, European Banking Authority, Osborne Clarke, French Ministry for Digital Affairs, and many more. While the varied regulatory environment across EU countries creates certain challenges, industry proponents see solid potential for encouraging cross border participation and EU wide growth.
