Earlier this week, video game developer Brian Fargo and his team at inXile entertainment unveiled the trailer for Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut.
Wasteland 2 is described as the direct sequel to the first ever post-apocalyptic computer RPG. The game debuted on Kickstarter back in March 2012 and successfully secured over $2,933,252 from 61,290 backers.
The video’s description reads:
“Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut is the enhanced and updated version of the award-winning Wasteland 2. Running on Unity 5 and featuring updated graphics, the Director’s Cut also adds Perks & Quirks for enhanced character depth, Precision Strikes for additional combat tactics, redesigned combat encounters, expanded voice-over with more than 8,000 new recorded dialog lines, a redesigned user interface, controller support, and more.”
Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut is set to launch for PC owners as a free update. It will also be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in late summer 2015.
