InventHelp, an inventor service company in Pittsburgh, PA, has announced they are creating an invention-focused crowdfunding platform, FundAnIdea, which will launch in fall 2015.
FundAnIdea will allow inventors to create a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to help fund their idea. Inventors will be able to upload videos, images, and other materials to build a crowdfunding campaign.
Reportedly, what sets FundAnIdea.com apart from other crowdfunding platforms is that if an idea is fully funded, InventHelp has the capabilities and resources to help inventors get in touch with companies to discuss potentially manufacturing, marketing, or licensing the product.
Robert Susa, President of InventHelp, declared:
“Inventors are now realizing that crowdfunding is another option to assist in the creation of their idea, even if they lack the funds to do it on their own. The biggest problem for crowdfunders right now is they may be unsure how to utilize their funds to create their product or service after their campaigns are fully funded. InventHelp has the resources to assist them.”
Most crowdfunding campaigns are unsuccessful because they are not planned or produced properly. That is why FundAnIdea.com plans to offer ala carte services such as: assisting with obtaining a provisional patent, graphic design, video production services, and social media management.
“I believe that crowdfunding is going to be the new way companies and individuals will be able to fund anything from your favorite band’s new album to the next smart watch. InventHelp’s mission is to help everyday inventors, and crowdfunding corresponds with our company vision. We are very excited to start this new journey with inventors and crowdfunding donors alike.”
The equity-based crowdfunding portion of FundAnIdea.com will be powered by BankRoll, founded and operated by equity crowdfunding attorney, Kendall Almerico. All campaigns backed by a FINRA licensed broker-dealer.
