EarlyShares Cofounder Heather Schwarz Receives Impact Award from CREW

Heather Schwarz LopesEarlyShares, an early participant in the investment crowdfunding space, has received a nice recognition for the efforts of Heather Schwarz, co-founder and COO.  Schwarz received the 2015 Impact Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit awarded by the CREW Network – an entity dedicated to advancing the achievements of women in commercial real estate.

Miami-based EarlyShares, founded in 2011, commenced as an early stage investment platform but has since migrated into the hot real estate crowdfunding sector, has been a longtime advocate on behalf of the JOBS Act and access to capital. Schwarz has played an important role in the development of the industry as both a thought leader and regulatory advocate.

“Heather’s entrepreneurial achievements and willingness to take risks exemplify what CREW is all about,” said Lori Kilberg, President of CREW Network. “Celebrating the accomplishments of remarkable women like Heather is one way CREW helps influence and advance the commercial real estate industry, so it was our pleasure to recognize her at this year’s national convention.”

Schwarz was quoted on receiving the recognition;

“It was a great honor to accept the Impact Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit at the CREW National Conference in front of over 1,000 of my most distinguished CREW colleagues. Thank you to the organizers for the recognition!”

“As EarlyShares and our flagship brand, Property.com, continue to disrupt commercial real estate finance and grow alongside the real estate crowdfunding market, we look forward to supporting CREW’s mission of advancing and celebrating the achievements of women in our industry.”
