Crowded out by the huge announcement of AngelList signing a deal that will direct $400 million towards early stage startups made possible by CSC Upshot was the revelation the platform had launched a new App for startup jobs. Described as like the Tinder for tech jobs, AngelList is going mobile with one their most widely utilized features of matching openings at startups with possible candidates.
The new App is available in the Apple App store now. AngelList explains that candidates may see salary and equity info and they can apply privately so their current employer has no idea they are looking around. There is also a chat feature to get negotiations started. Startups may find up to 10,000 new candidates a week and those seeking jobs may apply to around 8000 companies with a single profile. Oh.
