AltFi, a media outlet for alternative finance, recently announced the winners of this years AltFi Awards. Among the winners were Funding Circle and SyndicateRoom.
It was noted that this year AltFi split the award categories into three sections: Industry, Small Business & Investor.
“For the industry awards, each category will be judged by a completely independent expert panel. For the Small Business Awards and the Investor Awards we will also be involving a small panel of users—small businesses and investors—who we will survey to get their votes.”
Highlights of the awards include:
- 5,782 votes in the People’s Choice poll.
- 21 awards across three categories: “Industry”, “Investors” and “SME”.
- SyndicateRoom grabs Alternative Finance Platform of the Year 2015 (UK)
- Funding Circle scoops four awards including the P2P Business Platform of the Year 2015.
All winners and runners up will receive a .jpg image to advertise through their marketing and website, along with a trophy that will be presented at the AltFi Awards ceremony at the beginning of 2016.
