Last month, Australian filmmaker Amy Browne debuted her recent project called Bee Collective. The film featured Indiegogo-success, Flow Hive.
Flow Hive is the beekeeping and honey making system that has captured the backing of thousands. It received $12,487,629 last summer through the global crowdfunding platform.
The documentary’s description reads:
“From bee hotels, bee highways, backyard beekeeping and the Australian record-breaking design Flow Hive, compassion and human ingenuity are taking place the world over in an effort to protect these precious creatures that are vitally linked to our food and survival.”
The Flow Hive team shared in a recent Facebook post:
“We are proud to be involved in this new video from acclaimed Australian filmmaker Amy Browne. It’s great to see so many people are backing the bees. If you have been watching our videos you might recognise some of the slow motion footage.”
Bee Collective was commissioned for festival21 and premiered on December 11 2015. Check out the film below.
