Finalists for CES Hardware Battlefield Compete for $50K Prize

The 15 finalists for the 3rd Hardware Battlefield have been announced by TechCrunch. Submissions for the event began last fall and competitors hope to have a shot at a $50,000 prize. Of course, the real prize is the exposure in front of the gazillion of CES visitors which include many potential investors. Each participant is expected to launch a crowdfunding or product campaign before January 6th. The winner will be revealed at the TechCrunch stage at the Las Vegas Sands during the closing ceremony at 4PM PT on Friday (January 8th).
