Following an exciting few days at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Indiegogo team took to global crowdfunding platform’s blog and shared some details about the big event.
The team stated:
“CES 2016 has officially come to a close, and this year’s show was bigger and more innovative than ever before. The event drew more than 170,000 industry professionals, including more than 50,000 from outside of the US, to Las Vegas for the four-day show.
“We’re proud to have been a part of this renowned consumer technology show for a third year in a row, with more than 125 Indiegogo campaigners exhibiting at the show. Seeing our past, present and future campaigners exhibit at CES solidified our commitment to empowering people to bring their ideas from idea to market. From the hottest tech trends to celeb sightings, here’s what the Indiegogo team saw at CES 2016.”
While discussing key trends at CES, Indiegogo revealed:
“When you gather all the big names in technology plus innovative startups in one space, you’re bound to see some of the coolest gadgets around. A few key trends we saw at CES included drones, health-focused wearables, robotics, 3D printers and solar tech. While none of these ideas are necessarily new, the products in each category have made impressive strides.”
Indiegogo then unveiled its team’s highlights.
Also sharing details about the Indiegogo campaigns present at CES, the global platform explained:
“More than 125 Indiegogo campaigns exhibited at CES this year, ranging from new technology and working prototypes like the CHiP Robot Dog and Buddy Robot to established retail products like Misfit Wearables and Axent Wear Cat Ear Headphones. The Indiegogo Zone (Booth 80446 in Eureka Park) was home to 6 of our current campaigns and 3 of our partners, showcasing the road from concept to marketplace.”
