Last week, Mums of Prima Baby Magazine announced that it has shortlisted KalliKids for its 2016 “Can’t Live Without” Award. The company recently launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs to raise £150,000.

KallikidsThe company’ goal is to help parents find activities for their children while on vacation. It stated:

“KalliKids’ providers of children’s activities and services pass accreditation checks and provide references before being listed – thereafter parents can post live reviews about them, good or bad. These providers pay a subscription to appear on the KalliKids website and on the very active KalliKids social media. So our B2B customers are providers of children’s activities.”

KalliKids reportedly reaches 90,000 people each month and over 1,400 providers have signed up. Last year, the company was dubbed winner of the Outstanding Entrepreneur at the 2015 Best Business Awards.

British tennis player, Julie Pullin, previously revealed that she has supported KalliKids in its recent Sponsored Child initiative. She explained:

KalliKids 2“All children deserve the opportunity, regardless of circumstance, economic or social status, to learn new skills. I have joined the Kallikids Sponsored Child initiative as together we want to give as many youngsters as possible more opportunities. Trying new skills while you are young is vital. These skills help build both physical and social confidence as youngsters move into adulthood.”

Speaking about the award, founder of Kallikids Karen Bach commented:

“Being short-listed by Mums in this national award is fantastic and shows just how much our service is needed by parents. The team is incredibly proud to be thanked in this way.”
