NextGen Crowdfunding is hosting another live-stream event. Today (August 10th) at 4PM ET or 1PM PT, Dr. Richard Swart, will be hosting a 2 part series that will help educate both investors in equity crowdfunding and companies that are considering using equity crowdfunding to raise capital online. Swart will cover the “nuts & bolts” of the newly created securities exemptions enacted under the JOBS Act of 2012.
First up is the session for investors. Swart will outline 5 steps as to what you need to do before you invest in an early stage company that is selling securities via a crowdfunding platform.
The second session will provide the essentials of launching an equity crowdfunding campaign. Raising capital online takes a lot of work so this is an opportunity to learn from an expert.
