Australian Fintecher Credit Savvy: 200,000+ Users Strong and Growing Savvier

credit-savvyThe Australian credit reputation website Credit Savvy announced that its platform has reached 200,000 users. The website provides Australians with free access to their Experian credit scores, monthly score updates, a knowledge center to learn about credit and a comparison tool that lets users research and consider home loans, credit cards and personal loans.  Nearly 2 million free credit scores have been given away to the Credit Savvy member base in the past 18 months.

“It’s great to see that awareness of credit scores has really increased in the past year and it’s humbling to think we’ve made a contribution towards helping Australians make informed decisions about credit products and get on top of their credit history,” commented Managing Director Dirk Hofman.

Australia MoneyThe platform credits national marketing campaigns across radio and digital media for its rapid growth. Given this momentum, Hofman believes that Credit Savvy is poised for further expansion in 2017 as the local credit landscape experiences considerable change from a regulatory perspective.

“In the past few months, nearly all of our members have seen a change in their credit score. With more lenders opting into comprehensive credit reporting and generally more data becoming available, we expect this trend of fluctuating credit scores to continue,” added Hofman. “This means it’s more important than ever to understand your credit reputation and take charge of it by using a free service like Credit Savvy.”
