Although known for its burgers and triple-cooked fries, the restaurant notably uses fresh ingredients while preparing all foods in its establishment. Friends & Brgrs also noted that it avoids additives/preservatives whenever possible and all of its ingredients are sourced from known and trusted suppliers. The co-founders, Peter Fagerholm, Saul Mäenpää, Kaj Fagerholm, Sebastian Östman, Rasmus Östman, and Ole Snellman, previously stated:
“We started Friends & Brgrs for people just like you. People who like great burgers. People like us. That’s why we bake our own buns, triple-cook our fries and grind the meat ourselves. We use the best ingredients we can find, and buy them from people we know and trust. No shortcuts and no compromises. There are easier ways to make burgers and fries, but not better.”
They also noted;
“We care for a good work environment, both in terms of relationships between people and the physical environment. We want to create opportunities for our employee to succeed in their work by working together, helping and supporting each other. We strongly believe in the people we work with, and their willingness to dedicate themselves to our common goals.”
Friends & Brgs is currently planning to expand its restaurants in larger cities throughout Europe. It wants to open 2-3 new establishments per year in the coming years. The co-founders added they have chosen not to franchise, commenting that the company believes the best way to secure quality is by controlling the operations itself. The Invesdor campaign is set to close on December 20th.
