Brief: Mainstreet Student Living Seeks $1.8M on Crowdstreet For New South Carolina Housing Community

Mainstreet Student Living, U.S. registered broker-dealer focused on the health care sector and student housing opportunities, announced on Tuesday the launch of its CrowdStreet Regulation D offering. The company is seeking to raise $1.8 million for a new housing community located in Central, South Carolina.

mainstreet-1The company stated the 68,000 square-feet on-campus student living community would be located at Southern Wesleyan University. I twill have 114 units, 243 beds, and will feature a state-of-the-art clubhouse, study lounges, a resident lounge with TV, and even a fully-functional kitchen. The community, which will cost $9.3 million, is projected to be completed in August 2017.

Speaking about the funding round, Justin Farris, managing director of Mainstreet Student Living, stated:

Mainstreet is notably a national company that specializes in real estate development, value investments, and healthcare. It has been recognized by Senior Housing News and won the Architecture & Design Award in 2013, 2014, and 2015. It was also named Inc. 500l5000 six times since 2010.
