Evarae, a London-based luxury resortwear brand, is currently seeking £175,000 in expansion funds through its new equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs and is offering 11.00% in equity. The company, which was founded in 2015, is making preparation to launch in Spring/Summer 2017 and is a creation of Georgia Thompson, the former design manager of TopShop TopMan and also design and production manager of Heidi Klein Limited.
According to the new fashion company, the clothing line is inspired by Georgia’s childhood, where she spent time sea traveling with her parents to exotic places. Evarae itself was named after the boat she spent summers traveling on. It was revealed:
“The label responds to a need for modern and beautifully constructed swimwear with a functional core, great emphasis has been given on how each piece fits the body. At the same time design detail has not been lost, the label has an ultra-luxe feel, pushing boundaries by quilting on top of swimwear, using metal work to create interesting lines on the body, using 100% silk mixed with traditional hand embroideries or delicate cut work on top of digital prints.”
Evarae stated it plans to be one of the top international lifestyle and resort wear brands in 2018. To do this, it will combine fine tailoring and high-tech swimwear into new pieces. The company will also transition into international lifestyle brand by launching its Ready to Wear line.
“Evarae has a strong emphasis on day to evening Resortwear, bikini tops can be worn with flowing palazzo pants straight off the beach into the evening. There is an emphasis on fit and cut to the body that flatters women’s figures while remaining at the forefront of fashion.”
So far, the campaign has raised nearly £25,000 from more than 50 investors.
