Daylui, a UK-based online rental marketplace, has launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs. The website is seeking £115,000 for continuous growth of its platform along with its plans to revolutionize the sharing economy.
Daylui, which was launched in 2015 by founders Daniel Gonsales, Valdemar Tunkevic, Anna Jaskova, and Stanislav Goriunov, describes itself as an online platform that allows users to lease and rent items. Currently present in London, Daylui stated its continuing to have a growing base of users and items. The platform’s team stated:
“Do you have something to lease? Or are you looking for something to rent? Most of us have items that are not used on a daily basis. Such as cameras, bicycles, consoles, tools and more. Why can’t we generate extra income from these items? It can be anything: a motor-home, a boat, a camera, a gaming console. Items you don’t need on a daily basis. So far there is no place that allows you lease your items and to rent items you need directly from other people. Daylui.com aims to solve this, by creating an easy to use marketplace that connects people that have something to lease with people that want to rent it. Think of it as an ‘Airbnb for everything else.'”
With this Seedrs campaign, the Daylui’s staff aims to expand throughout the UK and in Germany. Funds from the campaign will also be used for the following:
- Increase its user-base and its reach, giving to more people the opportunity to know and enjoy the benefits of this platform.
- Move cross-platform, making it even easier to participate in the sharing economy using dedicated iOs and Android apps.
- Improve its systems, from the User Interface to the security measures.
Daylui is currently offering investors 10% in equity through the campaign, which is set to close in early spring.
