GLI Finance Owned Sancus Finance Launches New Financing Platform

Sancus Finance, a specialist financial services provider, has launched a new funding platform for businesses looking to participate in financing on their site. The new platform is part of a series of developments designed to improve the overall service offered to both funders and businesses. Sancus is part of AIM listed GLI Finance. Sancus BMS Group, the parent of Sancus Finance, has provided in excess of £578 million of funding to SME’s and their owners and has operations in the UK, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar & the Isle of Man.

The Sancus platform matches funders with businesses looking for fast, simple, and straightforward financing options. In developing the new platform, the business took feedback from their existing clients to understand what information they require when assessing a funding opportunity. The new service is designed to make the process of identifying preferred funding opportunities, assessing the level of risk and deploying funds to businesses intuitive and straightforward.

Caroline Langron, Managing Director of Sancus Finance, commented on the new platform;

“Ensuring a business has access to the finance they need to grow is our key driver. To make this happen we need to ensure that we are giving our Funders the confidence they need to use our Platform. We continue to work hard to provide them with access to robust information on the businesses and the transactions that they are interested in, to help them make the right decision about providing funding.”

Stephen Findlay, CEO of BondMason, called the new platform a significant improvement over the previous iteration.

“I have “up to the minute” access to my account information so I can see funds deployed, returns and repaid funds.”

Langron said they have more developments planned over the next 12 months including continuous improvement on the system for clients and intermediaries as well as new product initiatives to satisfy market demand.

Sancus’ two main products include Invoice Trading, which provides funding against outstanding invoices and Supply Chain Finance. In addition to this, Sancus also offers two specialist finance solutions designed for Educational Institutions and a Vendor Partner Program for businesses looking to support the purchasing capability of their customers.
