YeKim has listed a Reg CF crowdfunding offer on Republic for a Crowd Safe investment.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, with showrooms in New York and Paris, over the next few months YeKim is expanding with additional showrooms opening in Chicago and in Los Angeles.
Founded by Martez Malone, the company is producing high end luxury fashion with a high end margin of approximately 80%. During the past 12 months, over $1.3 million in purchase orders have been received and Martez is said to have curated a growing list of celebrity fans and endorsers – something that is hugely important for this type of business. YeKim and founder Malone have an interesting back story too. When Malone was 19, he allegedly participated in a check-cashing/debit card scheme that landed him in prison on charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud. After doing his time, Malone turned himself around and dedicated himself to becoming a successful entrepreneur. In 2013, Malone, now a father of three, created YeKim to make clothing thus establishing a growing brand.
