Fundanna, part of TrueCrowd, has filed a Reg D (506c) with the SEC indicating its intent to raise up to $2 million in a SAFE with revenue participation. Investors may participate starting at $2500. This is the initial filing with the first sale yet to occur.
Fundanna is a crowdfunding portal for all things Cannabis and Hemp related. On their home page, Fundanna notes that Cannabis sales grew to $7.2 billion in 2016, up from $5.4 billion in 2015 – indicating rapid growth as a growing number of states legalize marijuana for medicinal or recreational uses.
TruCrowd was one of the first Reg CF portals to receive authorization from FINRA and the SEC back in mid 2016. TruCrowd currently offers investment opportunities in early stage companies with Fundanna being their Cannabis funding vertical.
Today, Fundanna has two investment opportunities listed: G. Randall and Sons, Inc., a company that sells Hemp products that “unlocks the body’s own healing abilities,” and NextRX Inc., a reward membership network for medical marijuana patients used by Cannabis Dispensaries.
