Crowdcube Mobile App Now Available on Android

On Monday, UK-based equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube announced the launch of its Android mobile app. The funding portal revealed that more than half of its investor activity happens on mobile devices and stated since its launch, over £9 million has been invested through the Crowdcube iOS App, with one in five investments on Crowdcube are now made in this way:

We’re keen to ensure that mobile investors have access to the best possible Crowdcube experience, and we’ve responded with significant improvements to our investor journey on mobile web, coupled with the launch in 2016 of our native Crowdcube iOS App. Today we’re delighted to make the native Crowdcube mobile experience available to investors with Android devices.”

Crowdcube noted that its mobile applications allow users to browse investment opportunities, follow opportunities and archive opportunities that are not suited for them. The platform explained that investments are quick and easy through the app with the status of all the user’s investments available in their portfolio.

You can be notified of new investment opportunities when they launch, and they are synced to your phone for browsing offline. Access to Company Updates and Discussions is not available in today’s Android release, but will follow in a future update.”

The Crowdcube Android App is now available on the Google Play Store and is supported through any mobile device running Android 5.0 (aka Lollipop) and above.
