UK-based brewing company, Left Handed Giant Brewing, is set to close its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube with more than £1 million from over 1400 investors. The round was launched in February and quickly raised its initial £450,000 funding target.
As previously reported, Left Handed Giant Brewing was launched in 2015 and claims to be one of the most highly rated breweries in the UK. It was revealed it is creating a true home for its business in the center of Bristol where it can reside long into the future. The company also reported that it will have wholesale partners throughout the UK and export to Sweden, Denmark, France, and Italy, but doesn’t believe it will be sending its beer further from source. Speaking about the Crowdcube campaign’s success so far, the Left Handed Giant team stated:
“We can’t quite believe our pitch has gone over £1m! Thank you so much to the 1389 people who’ve seen value in our vision and joined us on our journey! We can’t wait to pour you all a beer in Finzels Reach when we get the doors open!”
All funds will be used for the new brewery. The campaign will close on Sunday evening or when it achieves £1.1 million.
