dv01, a platform that connects online lenders and investors with data management, announced on Thursday it has formed a reporting partnership with leading peer-to-peer (P2P) lender, Funding Circle. dv01 revealed that through its partnership with Funding Circle, institutional investors who use dv01 to conduct analysis on marketplace lending and mortgage loans and bonds now have access to Funding Circle’s US SME loan performance data on dv01.
dv01 also reported that under the partnership it has normalized and validated all of Funding Circle’s US data. Investors who have been approved to view Funding Circle’s data will have 24/7 access to update loan-level performance and composition details, as well as a suite of reporting and analytics tools. Speaking about the partnership, Perry Rahbar, Founder and CEO of dv01, stated:
“We are excited to partner with Funding Circle and make their US data available to investors on dv01. Funding Circle is a leader in small business finance and we are looking forward to working with them as they scale their business in the United States, making it easier for investors to analyze their rich performance dataset.”
Bernardo Martinez, Funding Circle U.S. Managing Director, went on to add:
“Like dv01, transparency is at the heart of Funding Circle’s business model. Our partnership with dv01 gives us a new way to be open with institutional investors interested in this asset class.”
The collaboration with Funding Circle comes less than a month after dv01 announced expanded its reporting partnership with LendingClub. dvo1 previously provided reporting services for LendingClub securitizations but said it now has secured its “role as loan data agent for all completed CLUB Certificate transactions.”
