Kyyba Innovations Preps For Second Series of Detroit Fintech Challenge

Kyyba Innovations, an innovation and collaboration eco-system, announced on Tuesday is set to launch the second series of “Detroit Fintech Challenge” to identify game-changing innovations in the financial services industry. As previously reported, Kyyba Innovation has teamed up with TechTown Detroit for the program. The Detroit Fintech Challenge is an annual event where early-stage startups and entrepreneurs network and work collaboratively to solve corporations’ most pressing financial technology-related problems and interests, and then present them in a competitive style pitch competition.

“DFC will bring together entrepreneurs, coders, developers, and other key players and creative minds from across the region to generate enduring solutions to address critical fintech challenges. Through DFC, fintech startups will be given a theme/ challenge statement category. Finalists from each “challenge statement category” will present their concept as a part of the Fintech Challenge Pitch Competition. With many industries relying profoundly on financial transactions, the Detroit Fintech Challenge aims to create an economic impact in Michigan by creating new and innovative financial technologies in leading industries.”

The program’s kickoff meeting is set to happen on May 16th at TechTown. While sharing more details about the program, Tel K. Ganesan, Managing Director of Kyyba Innovations, stated:

“We are so delighted to host the Fintech Challenge in Detroit for the second consecutive year. We truly see this as a catalyst to drive a community in Detroit around fintech that will help in re-energizing the city and state with a diversified economy leading to economic prosperity for years to come.”

Startups can submit the applications starting May 17, 2019 and the deadline is June 30, 2019.
